Since joining the Juniors from the North Caledonian League in 2006, City have had a variety of homes that they have not always had first call on. They eventually secured a 5 year lease of ground at Bught Park in October 2012, adding fencing and utilities to form Lister Park. The ground is named in memory of Ian Lister, the club's former president and a former player at Aberdeen, Raith Rovers and Dunfermline Athletic. In February 2016, Highland Council refused to renew the lease meaning Inverness City will need to find a new home from October 2017 or be faced with disbandment.
