The ground is located at the very north of the town right by the main road, on the left coming from Dumfries and on the right as you come in from Ayrshire. Entry is via Blackaddie Road where there is a turn-off to the right down past a putting green.

There is a player's lounge that serves alcohol during the game.
Council-owned Lorimer Park can be found at the northern end of the town, and mainly consists of a meshed-off grass hollow, a running track with jumping lanes, as well as a couple of perspex dugouts. There is a club building that was opened in 2005, and within it are the club rooms, changing rooms and a players lounge that as well as serving alcohol, serves snacks and cold drinks to supporters. Floodlights were added in 2015.

Nithsdale Wanderers were originally in the Scottish League, but upon their departure many years ago, they joined the South of Scotland League before vanishing from senior football altogether. They returned very late in the day to join the South of Scotland League in 2001.
