Continue northwards beyond High Street into Castle Street following
signs for Springburn. After passing under M8 interchange, continue
northwards onto Springburn Road. Continue northwards for around
another half mile and take the slip road on the left towards
Possilpark. Turn left onto Hawthorn Street. 200 yards after
passing under a railway bridge, Saracen Park will be clearly
visible on the left. |

| Notes: | Entry to the ground is through the bar
area. You even pay your admission to the bar staff. Beside the
main stand is a terraced enclosure. Opposite the stand is a
section of terracing with crush barriers. The actual pitch is
very narrow, measuring exactly 50 yards. It was narrowed to
accommodate the wide corners of the speedway track that replaced
the previous dogtrack. The Peugeot Ashfield Stadium is also
used by the Glasgow Tigers speedway team. |
